40s and 50s Decades - Book Discussion on Hillbilly Elegy

Location: Vi at the Glen, 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview 60026

Date: February 14, 2018

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Class of 40s and 50s, please join us for a book discussion on Hillbilly Elegy, by J.D. Vance, a former Marine and Yale Law School graduate. Hillbilly Elegy is a powerful account of growing up in a poor Rust Belt town that offers a broader, probing look at the struggles of America's white working class.

We will begin at 9:30 am with coffee and the book discussion from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 am.  Cost is $8.00 per person, please make checks payable to the Chicago Wellesley Club and send your checks to reserve your spot to Anne Martin, '58, Glencoe (address made available via e-Newsletter).  If you have any questions, please call (847) 835-1958.

Please note there is complimentary valet parking at Vi at the Glen, and public transportation to Glenview via the Metra.
