JOIN US FOR THE FALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENT GATHERING!
Every year the Chicago Wellesley Club sponsors an afternoon for prospective Wellesley students with the Admissions Officer who reads the applications for the Chicago area and a panel of young alumnae. This is for high school students, and it gives prospective students a chance to learn about Wellesley in a format very different from the usual college fair or panel event. We invite alumnae, as alumnae presence helps demonstrate the value and strength of Wellesley’s alumnae network to prospective students and their parents. It’s an unusual, and very special way to introduce prospective students to Wellesley.
This year the Chicago Prospective Student Gathering will be Saturday, October 7th from 2:30-4:00 at the Loggia in the Upper School Building at the Latin School of Chicago at 59 W. North Boulevard in Chicago. The PSG will feature a presentation by the admissions officer for our region, Ferni Cruz, Wellesley Class of 2016 who is originally from the Chicago area. Ms. Cruz will be joined by an alumnae panel.
Prior to the PSG, Ms. Cruz will meet with admissions volunteers to tell us about the current admissions landscape and changes in Wellesley admissions and answer any questions you may have. Please RSVP to admissions@chicagowellesleyclub.org if you plan to attend.
