Join us for a spirited discussion of the 2017 American historical drama film, "Mudbound," based on the book of the same name by Wellesley alum and award winning author, Hillary Jordan '84. "Mudbound" stars Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Jason Clarke, Jason Mitchell, Jonathan Banks, Rob Morgan and Mary J. Blige. The film depicts two World War II veterans – who return to rural Mississippi each to address racism and PTSD in his own way. Special guest and author, Hillary Jordan '84 will be joining our discussion.
Each participant must obtain the movie through a streaming service or from the library and view at home prior to the discussion. The confirmation email you receive when you RSVP will have the discussion questions and streaming options outlined.
This event will be capped at 25 members.
