Thank you for your enthusiastic participation in our virtual reunion. It was wonderful seeing and talking with so many of you. Recordings of each of our Reunion Weekend Programs and our Wellesley Wednesday programs, are now available to you thanks to S & K Tech. Please note that the recordings include the questions and comments offered by classmates in each program’s “Chat” feature, as well as some of the conversations in breakout rooms. 11:00 am-12:30 pm EDT - Panel: “Octogenarians’ Perspectives on the World”

In the 60 years since we graduated from Wellesley much has changed. This
program will provide perspectives in three areas: science, politics and design.
Presented by three of our accomplished classmates, we anticipate lots of
2:30-4:00 pm EDT - *Speaker Kristina Niovi Jones, PhD, Director, Wellesley College Botanic Gardens; Advisory Faculty, Environmental Studies: “From Victory Gardens to Climate Change: Wellesley’s Century of Collecting Plants to Big Issues of the Day"
Nearly 100 years ago, Wellesley College designated 22 acres of its core landscape for use by the Botany Department to be developed as a “center that shall be of interest to all”. This talk will examine how this “center”, now the Wellesley College Botanic Gardens and the Global Flora Conservatory has, over the years, connected to big issues of the times and continues to develop as a distinctive element of Wellesley’s residential liberal arts experience.
