When Nan Keohane suggested that the class gift for our 25th reunion should be an Associate Professorship, we little knew what an interesting and varied assortment of faculty members we'd be sponsoring.
Faculty Salute at lunch
Joining us for lunch and conversation on Reunion Saturday were five faculty members who have held our chair: Marc Tetel (lower photograph, right side), Mary Kate McGowan, Margaret Keane (upper photograph, right side in white shirt), Andrew Shennan, and Adele Wolfson. You can learn more about their teaching and research interests by clicking on the links in the following table. We enjoyed learning about Wellesley today from these very engaged faculty members.
Susan Mitchell Greenstein, who worked with faculty members to organize the Faculty Salute introduced them to us. You can read her introduction here.
Who and where they all are
Check this list for all the Class of 1966 Associate Professors. Their position titles are links to their web pages. They're all doing well, and most are still at Wellesley, so Nan Keohane's strategy of using this chair to retain talented young faculty members has been a success. And one of the ones who's left is now president of Trinity College in Hartford.
