A great group of classmates gathered at the 3 West Club in Manhattan on March 26 for Melinda Ponder's discussion of her biography, Katharine Lee Bates: From Sea to Shining Sea.

Judy Katz reported: "Melinda did a fabulous job, 2 hours straight of fascinating details about KLB's life and times.  It's clear Melinda's interest in KLB runs deep and she is most enthusiastic about sharing it.  Most speakers would run out of steam but Melinda stayed and addressed all of our questions.  We were lucky to have attendees who were eager to learn about KLB. They asked great questions!"

And Melinda reported: "Judy did everything possible to make our mini wonderful!"
