Lisa talked about her life as a writer -- from her upbringing in East Tennessee, to her years at Wellesley, to her adult life in Vermont, London, Paris, and New York City.  She also discussed the genesis of some of her dozen published books and her experiences in getting them published –- with help from mentors, including Doris Lessing and Francoise Gilot. She commented on her newly published novel SWAN SONG: AN ODYSSEY and read a short passage.
