Risen from the Ashes and Beautifully Restored: An Update on Notre Dame in Paris

Although restoration of the interior of Notre-Dame has been completed, work continues on the exterior. Research also continues within the groups that are studying the cathedral's materials, design and structure. In time, these will provide us with a better understanding of the construction of a large-scale medieval building than we have ever had before. Caroline's presentation will celebrate the remarkable achievement of the restoration and summarize some of the new scholarly findings.
