Stay tuned! This is just the beginning - a meeting of three or more classmates constitutes a mini-reunion.
July 16-20, 2020
St. Andrews by the Sea and the Bay of Fundy
Host: Donna Smythe
With regret, I am postponing the St. Andrews, New Brunswick Mini-Reunion, scheduled for July 2020. The health and safety of our classmates, and the small Canadian town that I love so much, are paramount. I adore St. Andrews, and looked forward to introducing new friends to the wonders and beauty of the Fundy Coast, but this will not be the year. Covid-19 has disrupted much and this Mini-Reunion is the least of it, but I am still disappointed.
I fully intend to invite you to join me in St. Andrews for a long weekend in July 2021. Keep your fingers crossed that the pandemic is quelled and that our ability to travel and enjoy one another’s company is restored.
In the meantime, Zoom is the new front parlor, the new party room, the new fire pit, the new hangout. I’ll see you there!
October 16-18, 2020
la Nouvelle-Orléans laisse les bons moments
Host: Stephanie Bruno
Stephanie has graciously offered to reprise the mini-reunion of 2012 in her beloved "The Big Easy." We will enjoy the wonderful sights and scenes that Stephanie shared before as well as those that she shares with us on Facebook.
April 9-11, 2021
Insider’s Guide to the Best of Atlanta
Hosts: Muffie Michaelson and Donna Smythe
We are so fortunate to have hosts who are also local directors and docents of Atlanta’s finest organizations, and they will take us behind the scenes with decision makers, founders, and CEOs . . . plus we will eat, drink, and relax together. Organizations that may be included are The Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Center for Civil and Human Rights, The High Museum of Art, The Alliance Theatre, The Georgia Aquarium, The Atlanta Beltline, and wonderful cultural and outdoor activity opportunities.
September 16-18, 2022 (estimated date)
Oktoberfest - Zincinnati
Host: Rhonda Wrenn
Reported to be the second-largest Oktoberfest celebration in the world (the largest being the original in Munich, Germany), Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is a three-day celebration of German heritage, beer, and food held each September. Hosted by Rhonda, a Cincinnative native, this mini-reunion will have something for everyone.
Join us for a day or the weekend and, BTW, practice your chicken dance. Prost!
