2019 Faculty Lecture by Professor Elizabeth DeSombre

Please join the Wellesley Club of Dallas for this year's faculty lecture by Elizabeth R. DeSombre, Camilla Chandler Frost Professor of Environmental Studies at Wellesley College. Her talk, entitled, "How (Not) to Save the Environment" promises to be a fascinating reflection on human behavior and environmental challenges. The lecture will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm.  The location is Room 101 A, Harold Simmons Hall, Southern Methodist University, 6401 Airline Road, Dallas, TX. Guests are welcome.

Professor DeSombre is the Director of the Environmental Studies Program at Wellesley College.  Her work addresses international environmental politics and law, with a focus on issues of the global commons. Recent projects have involved the impact of flag-of-convenience shipping, the regulation of international fisheries, protection of the ozone layer, and global environmental institutions generally.  Additional information about Professor DeSombre is available on the Wellesley College website.
