Any and all member involvement is welcome! In particular, please let me or another board member know if you would like to
- host or help organize an event;
- help with technology, especially with the Alumnae Association's email and event management program, Finalsite;
- serve as an Alumnae Admission Liaison.
Wellesley has updated its admissions process to reflect the changing communications and recruitment landscape. Most components of the college's recruitment and admissions process are now on-line and some past practices, such as interviews, have been discontinued entirely. Clubs, however, remain involved in hosting events for admitted students and enrolling students and these events remain important recruitment tools.
There is also a new process for selecting an Alumnae Admissions Representative, now known as an Alumnae Admission Liaison (AAL); any alum who wishes to volunteer as an AAL first notifies FVWC (any board member) and then completes the Admissions Office’s Alum Admission Volunteer Form. AALs work with FVWC and the Admissions Office to plan events for admitted students in the spring (yield events) and with FVWC and the Parents Office to plan events for enrolling students in the summer (send-off events).
Thank you and I look forward to working with you!
