2015ers Ayana Aaron, Angela Bilkic, Lia Gallitano, Melodie Ha, Lynn Hsu, Erika Liu, and Melissa Jo Zambrana traveled to Philadelphia for a multi-day trip to celebrate their continued friendship. They ate delicious food, wore matching shirts designed by Angela, saw historic sites like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and commented on how hot each member of the group was while taking photos in front of the Rodin Museum.

This quarter the Class of 2015 sent in Love Letters – appreciating people, times, and places inspired by Wellesley.

I wanted to write a love note to my old roomie and amazing friend Maria Merson (LaBouyer) for always checking in on me. While I love medical school, some days are tough and it always makes me smile to see a text from her asking about my day. Maria is a gem and I'm lucky to call her my friend :)” – Amelia Winter

These super snowy days remind me of the blizzard of 2015 during my senior year at Wellesley. It resulted in classes being canceled to which Mara Palma, Elena Shaw and I (aka The Golden Triangle) responded to by popping open a bottle of wine to celebrate while marathoning Game of Thrones and running lines for our last Shakespeare Society show. – Leve Freeman

Many thanks to those traditional and Non-Traditional (Davis Scholar) Alums who compelled me, inspired me, to continue this educational journey.  May you realize your part in a larger world. To those who have interacted with a Davis Scholar, taken classes with them; including abroad classes, Thank you.  Know, your interactions with them, have made an impact.  This is important! Your influence will never be forgotten. – Linda Kosinski

I remember all the super cute bonding we did first week for Davis First, when I was in awe of how smart everyone around me is/was. That turned into ongoing relationships and friendships that were fundamentally part of finding my way. – Claire Milldrum

Shout out to Haneen Anbarserri for signing her very first contract as a dentist! – Zoe Moyer

Thanks to Oleander Furman's meticulously curated "Lush Lovers" playlist on Spotify, I have discovered some new jams and for that I'm very grateful! Would also like to pass my kudos along to e-board for their efforts keeping the Golden Class of 2015 connected and informed. <3 – Chinyere Obasi

There’s no doubt that 2020 and the beginning of 2021 has been different. Nonetheless, the Wellesley love has been in the air! I’ve truly loved and have been so thankful for the recurring Wellesley Squash team zoom parties and check-ins with freshman year besties! – Alexandra Spiliakos

To my once and future roommate Sophie Bybee (’16), I love you so much. I have always loved you and I will always love you. Thank you for getting me through first year. – Grace Atherton

I celebrated my second wedding anniversary with takeout at home and a trust exercise with my wife: letting her pierce a second hole in my ear. – Hannah Lindquist

For Elena Shaw – “My dearest bright Shining Star // The mornings are gloomier and the birds have stopped singing their beautiful songs the moment we parted. // I wait for your radiant smile and your sparkling personality to waltz back into my life, even if only for a millisecond. Come ‘home’ soon ;). // Sincerely, Your Secret Admirer, xoxoxo”

I hope you and your loved ones had a safe, healthy, and fun holiday season! I’m proud that I managed to cook my first Thanksgiving meal being away from my family and it wasn’t too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Congratulations are in order for these Class of 2015 members! Shirley Li started the first semester of her PhD program in Social Welfare in New York City, and Diana Lee got married! She and her husband had a courthouse ceremony with our family and a few close friends attending via Zoom.

Sarah Herman and Jocelyn Wong were delighted to reconnect as neighbors in Manhattan a couple of years ago. Since then, they've enjoyed picnics in their neighborhood park and spent weekend evenings at each other's apartments playing Scrabble, completing jigsaw puzzles, or cooking a meal together for a movie night. Escaping the city to visit the New York Botanical Gardens and wearing matching Wellesley apparel are some of their favorite things!

These days, Jocelyn Wong is enjoying bi-costal life between New York and California, and feels grateful for the extra time the pandemic has granted her. She has been designing hats/fascinators, volunteering on boards (including serving on the national committee for Wellesley Friends of Art), and hosting weekly barre workout classes on Zoom.

Happy New Year, Wellesley!
