Book Awards

The WCLA actively participates in the Wellesley College Book Award program, honoring promising students in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

The Book Award program recognizes students--many of whom may not have otherwise known about Wellesley--for their academic leadership and personal contributions to their schools and communities.

The Book: The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience, co-authored by Wellesley alum Hillary Rodham Clinton ’69 and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton. The book contains portraits of groundbreaking women throughout history and embodies the spirit of Wellesley’s mission: to educate women who will make a difference in the world.

To sponsor a Book Award, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Each book is $30.
