Parade Cheering Meetup with the Wellesley Alum Pride Alliance!
WAPA invites LGBTQ+ people for an informal meet up at Pride; people can float in and out as they want if they have competing Pride events. Our WAPA Rep will get down to the center median of Santa Monica Boulevard early on parade day to lay down some blankets to save the spot; look for people wearing Wellesley rainbow pins when the parade starts at 11am. People are welcome to spill out into the streets and dance afterwards or attend the official ticketed Pride event (which this is not).
Details will be discussed at the LGBTQ+ brunch on May 26 and then posted.
