Each spring, the Miami Wellesley Club presents book awards to exceptional female high school students in the Miami area.  The award recipient is presented with a copy of The Everglades: River of Grass, written by Marjory Stoneman Douglas ’12, during her school’s annual award ceremony. 

For the Book Award program to be a success, we need your assistance. The Book Award Program funds over three dozen books each year, some of which are sponsored by Miami Wellesley Club members.  In an effort to sustain the program, the Club kindly requests that members consider donating to the Book Award program to cover the cost of the book and postage ($25.00).  To donate one or more books, please select the amount below and proceed to checkout,  You may donate a book to a specific school or schools.  During the checkout process, please note in the special instructions box the name of the school(s) and your affiliation (alumna, parent of a current/former student, etc.) and we will share this information with the school(s).  If you prefer to pay by check, please contact Diane Quick (dserritella@alum.wellesley.edu), Book Award Chair, for mailing instructions.
