Burning of Kingston Historical Festival

Join us at 10:30am on Saturday, October 19 at the historic home of Liza Sunderlin '64 to walk to the Burning of Kingston historical re-enactment festivities. Families are welcome.

Liza Sunderlin '64 lives in an historic 1720s stone house that was burned in the (actual, historic) burning of Kingston. Her home is a short 10-minute walk from the Burning of Kingston festivities. We plan to meet at her home, located at 84 Saint James Street in Kingston, NY, at 10:30am and then to walk over as a group shortly before 11am when the events begin. You can see the schedule of activities here: https://www.kingston-ny.gov/burningofkingston. This is a family-friendly event, and all are welcome.

Please R.S.V.P. Liza Sunderlin '64 at lizasunderlin@hotmail.com, ideally before October 16, if you are planning to attend. If you are coming a little later in the day, you can try to find some of the group by calling Davina Vora '95 on her cell phone at 845-616-2484 (note that her phone is usually off, but she will keep it on while she is at the event).

Liza's home is conveniently located, right off of I87 and of course near the historical re-enactment. There is street parking on both sides of Saint James street. Nearby streets vary in parking restrictions, so please pay attention to the signs.
