Join fellow W3A alumnae and Karen Shih for a summer BBQ at the home of Cassindy Chao '90 in Piedmont! Karen Shih, PhD, is the Assistant Dean of Intercultural Education and Advisor to Students of Asian Descent at Wellesley College. She will share briefly about current API activities and concerns at Wellesley and then mingle to learn more about our activities and concerns here in the Bay Area.
Please bring a sample of your favorite BBQ sauce on something grilled or to be grilled at Cassindy's place - meat, vegetables, tofu, fruit... or bring a salad. Beer and wine is welcome, too! Let us know if you plan to bring a salad or "grillable" when you RSVP. Significant others and children welcome.
Pick ups at one or two key Oakland BART stations will be arranged for folks traveling by BART. Let us know if you will need transportation from BART!
We look forward to seeing you on July 12th!
