The Wellesley Racial Justice Initiative (WRJI) is hosting a series of "Opening Conversations About Race" via Zoom. As the first of a number of online resources and events that will be provided over the coming months by WRJI leaders, this Opening Conversation is an invitation to begin. From wherever you are, whether you are an alum of color or a white alum, enter the dialogue, advance the learning process, and join the struggle for racial justice.
It is free to register but donations are encouraged to fairly compensate the Wellesley alums that are professionally facilitating these Conversations. We will email you a link with the Zoom information as well as donation information a few days before the event.
WRJI will also continue to host Opening Conversations for the wider Wellesley alum community, and upcoming sessions will be held on the following dates:
Saturday, October 17th, 3-5pm (ET), facilitated by Tyree Oredein, DrPH., '98
Wednesday, October 28th, 6-8pm (ET), facilitated by Fiona Oliphant, Esq., '93
